Disclaimer of Liability

Berlin Racing Bikes accepts no liability for any injury, damage, loss, or expense arising directly or indirectly from the use of the rented bicycle.

The rented bicycle is not insured. The Renter accepts full responsibility for the bicycle during the rental period and is liable for any loss, theft, damage, or destruction, regardless of the cause.

The Renter also confirms that they have adequate personal insurance to cover accidents and injuries or accepts full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.

Damage & Accident Reporting

Any damage to the bicycle must be reported to Berlin Racing Bikes immediately.

This also applies to:

• Accidents involving third parties
• Theft
• Attempted theft
• Total loss of the bicycle
• Vandalism

Any damage discovered upon return of the bicycle that was not previously documented will be considered the responsibility of the Renter. The cost of repairs or replacement will be charged accordingly.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued if the bicycle is returned before the agreed rental end date.

Unused rental days are non-refundable.

Bicycle Collection & Return

Before taking possession of the bicycle, the Renter must carefully inspect it.

Any existing damage or defects must be recorded in writing before the rental begins.

By signing the Rental Agreement, the Renter confirms that the bicycle has been inspected and accepted in good working condition.

The bicycle is supplied clean, fully serviced, and in excellent mechanical condition.

The bicycle must always be stored in a secure location, such as a locked bicycle storage room, hotel room, apartment, or other safe indoor area whenever possible.

Bicycle Care

Theft and damage insurance are not included in the rental price.

When parking the bicycle, avoid leaning it against:

• the frame
• the saddle
• the brake discs
• the rear derailleur

Whenever possible, support the bicycle using a pedal, the rear wheel, or a suitable bicycle stand.

The bicycle must be treated with reasonable care throughout the rental period.

Accessories

The bicycle is supplied with the accessories listed in the Rental Agreement.

Any accessory that is lost, stolen, damaged beyond normal wear, or not returned at the end of the rental period will be charged to the Renter at its replacement cost.

Failure to Return the Bicycle

The bicycle must be returned at the agreed date, time, and location.

If the Renter fails to return the bicycle and does not arrange an alternative return with Berlin Racing Bikes within 24 hours after the agreed return time, the bicycle will be considered stolen.

Berlin Racing Bikes reserves the right to report the bicycle as stolen to the police and take any legal action necessary.

The Renter will be liable for the full replacement value of the bicycle, all supplied accessories, and any additional costs resulting from the failure to return the equipment.
